Après un premier shakedown sur l’aérodrome du Castellet la semaine dernière, Acura a effectué sa première véritable séance d’essais ce week-end sur le circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.
Le prototype hybrid du constructeur américain, basé sur un châssis Oreca, a réalisé deux jours d’essais intensifs sur le circuit français, avec Matt McMurry, ingénieur en performance des véhicules HPD, et Ricky Taylor, pilote de Wayne Taylor Racing à son volant.
Wayne Taylor Racing et Meyer Shank Racing feront rouler la voiture la saison prochaine en IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
