Après une très belle prestation d’Antonio Giovinazzi en qualifications, la Ferrari 499P n°51 de Ferrari AF Corse, qu’il partage avec Alessandro Pier Guidi et James Calado, s’élancera de la pole position.
La première ligne sera partagée avec la Toyota TR010 Hybrid n°8 de Ryo Hirakawa, Sebastien Buemi et Brendon Hartley.
